Montevideo City Torque's Christophe Troxler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theo Hayles in the 3rd minute of play. Reynaldo Stephen was a little too slow when Reuben Meade got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. The supporters of Montevideo City Torque booed when Club Sportivo Italiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Araoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reuben Meade got free with Reynaldo Stephen in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Montevideo City Torque's zone, Theo Hayles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christophe Troxler came out of the goal and Theo Hayles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reuben Meade let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 17th minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. Montevideo City Torque's Christophe Troxler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Pes in the 22nd minute of play. Christophe Troxler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo Hayles, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Reynaldo Stephen made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Reuben Meade sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Club Sportivo Italiano's Reynaldo Stephen got control of the ball when Reuben Meade tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ticho Covarrubias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reynaldo Stephen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustín Álvarez went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 39 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Italiano's goal looked a bit too open when Guillelme Lomas came free, but Reynaldo Stephen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reynaldo Stephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillelme Lomas in the 45th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Agustín Álvarez to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Reuben Meade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Stephen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Agustín Álvarez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reynaldo Stephen was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. A collision led to Montevideo City Torque getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Reuben Meade hit a great ball. Agustín Álvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evelio Pes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christophe Troxler having to interfere. Christophe Troxler stood somewhat misplaced when Theo Hayles came free in front of goal and shot 3-2 to the left of him in the 73 minute. If Reuben Meade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Montevideo City Torque's Yves Passot was substituted for Agustín Álvarez. In the 80th minute, Gu Sha Zhen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montevideo City Torque fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillelme Lomas in the 83rd minute of play forced Club Sportivo Italiano's goalkeeper Reynaldo Stephen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Theo Hayles got free with Christophe Troxler in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Club Sportivo Italiano's Reynaldo Stephen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yves Passot in the 89th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Club Sportivo Italiano's Theo Hayles dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-3. There was no doubt that Montevideo City Torque were the better team. Montevideo City Torque's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
