Pastor Hartz kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Urtzi Zamorano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tauri Koha was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Tauri Koha made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Yuri Reis sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Yuri Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Figueira SC FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Yuri Reis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tauri Koha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 18 in the game by Yuri Reis from a close distance when the talented Tauri Koha managed to make a qualified save. Dune's players were relieved. Femke Bol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Golo Cabezudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Femke Bol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taavi Voltri in the 29th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Taavi Voltri in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Femke Bol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st minute of the match Dune got a corner. Figueira SC FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Taavi Voltri ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Dune's corner Ata Beyan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Femke Bol quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Urtzi Zamorano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tauri Koha was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. When Urtzi Zamorano came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Figueira SC FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urtzi Zamorano couldn't finish the play. Mike van Zeijl kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dadá Macedo got free with Tauri Koha in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dune's Tauri Koha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Dune from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yuri Reis was the one to do the kick off.
