The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A hard shot by Sten Nordin from long distance, 11 minutes into the match, got Fred Haney's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mitch Dekens got free with Fred Haney in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 13 played minutes Real Kuskatan C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Costas. Sten Nordin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fred Haney firmly grabbed it by the left post. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Kuskatan C.F.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sten Nordin was slow to take the kick. During this time Branco FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Real Kuskatan C.F.'s goalie and right to Aristides Etxeberri. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Real Kuskatan C.F.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 19 minutes into the match, Real Kuskatan C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Mitch Dekens came free, but Fred Haney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Mitch Dekens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Haney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Branco FC booed when Real Kuskatan C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Astigar didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Fred Haney got control of the ball when Sten Nordin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Kuskatan C.F.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sten Nordin was slow to take the kick. During this time Branco FC's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Mitch Dekens advanced and headed the ball into goal, 3-0 in the 34th minute. Fred Haney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Montes in the 39th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sten Nordin got free with Fred Haney in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Branco FC made a substitution. Conrado Dimas replaced Sten Nordin. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mitch Dekens to make the kick off. The supporters of Branco FC booed when Real Kuskatan C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Budzynski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Dimas in the 64th minute of play forced Real Kuskatan C.F.'s goalkeeper Fred Haney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justo Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Fred Haney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Dimas in the 67th minute of play. In the 69thth minute of the game Mitch Dekens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Fred Haney was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Branco FC's Aaron Inge got control of the ball when Marco Ruben tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fred Haney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mitch Dekens in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 73rdth minute of the game Mitch Dekens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Fred Haney was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 75th minute Mitch Dekens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Haney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Inge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feng Hao Hui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Branco FC's Conrado Dimas in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Kuskatan C.F.'s goalie prevented a goal. Fred Haney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Montes, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Fred Haney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mitch Dekens in the 82nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feliks Drzewucki in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aaron Inge saved Branco FC from getting behind. Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Juan Campos was substituted for Marco Ruben. After 86 played minutes Real Kuskatan C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Feng Hao Hui. In the 88th minute, Conrado Dimas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Branco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitch Dekens in the 92nd minute of play forced Real Kuskatan C.F.'s goalkeeper Fred Haney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mitch Dekens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fred Haney came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Branco FC's Adolfo Montes. But to his dismay, Adolfo Montes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Branco FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Real Kuskatan C.F. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
