Cayetano Francho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cayetano Francho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Fernández in the 24th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Patay Juniors's zone, Kevin Debruyne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cayetano Francho came out of the goal and Kevin Debruyne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cayetano Francho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Debruyne in the 37th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Kevin Debruyne had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cayetano Francho. Patay Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kevin Debruyne was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. After the first half 『挑战者』兄弟-浪子而已 were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 50 played minutes Patay Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Leo Chesus. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kevin Debruyne in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cayetano Francho saved Patay Juniors from getting behind. Cayetano Francho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kevin Debruyne in the 55th minute.
