After a rather tough play, Tigre's Arnaldo Lore got a free kick in the 69th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alp Enginalp got free with Desiderio Lauaxeta in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rd minute, Alp Enginalp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Desiderio Lauaxeta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The Tigre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Desiderio Lauaxeta should have stopped the shot. The Tigre supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching istanbulls's performance. The match ended with a win for istanbulls.
