The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enzo Miccio in the 2nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Didi de Moraes saved Bergamim F.C. from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudinei Peixoto in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Federico Kalinowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Didi de Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Miccio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Bergamim F.C. defense, Gabriel Gaufred kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Didi de Moraes. The Bergamim F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Didi de Moraes should have stopped the shot. 12 minutes into the game, Bengt-Rune Fastesson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ACF Fiorentina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bergamim F.C. the free kick. In the 12th minute, Bengt-Rune Fastesson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Federico Kalinowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Peixoto in the 14th minute of the match. Tassos Koutsoubos was slow to take the kick. During this time Bergamim F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Bergamim F.C.'s corner Tassos Koutsoubos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Federico Kalinowski quite easily take care of the ball. In the 21st minute, Bengt-Rune Fastesson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ACF Fiorentina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 25 minutes into the match, Bergamim F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Miccio came free, but Didi de Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ACF Fiorentina fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when ACF Fiorentina's Bengt-Rune Fastesson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bengt-Rune Fastesson made a kick off. Didi de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Jesus in the 52nd minute of play.
