Brufoss IL's Borys Witek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Sundström in the 25th minute of play. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FC Kurdistan's Elliot Nordgren was substituted for Lars Sundström. Elliot Nordgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Borys Witek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Elliot Nordgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 68 minutes into the match, Brufoss IL's goal looked a bit too open when Elliot Nordgren came free, but Borys Witek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Kurdistan's Iwan Kasiewski was substituted for Emanuel Åström. Brufoss IL made a substitution. August Bergsland replaced Frode Tobiassen. Brufoss IL's Nils-Arne Bruvik was substituted for Kevin Strømsnes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elliot Nordgren in the 76th minute of play forced Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Borys Witek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Kurdistan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kjell Mattsson in the 78th minute. Elliot Nordgren scored 8-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Borys Witek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Elliot Nordgren came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the FC Kurdistan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elliot Nordgren couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the match, Elliot Nordgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Borys Witek. Brufoss IL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elliot Nordgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Kurdistan fully deserved thier win.
