A nice corner shot did that Den Barraclough got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Atahan Balon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Isidor in the 23rd minute of play. In the 29th minute Asiz Soon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zoran Simović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zoran Simović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Brion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidoro Isidor hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo-Enrique Bochini got free with Zoran Simović in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, Victoriano Iratzeder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Atahan Balon. Los Muchachos del 86's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victoriano Iratzeder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Saverio Brion made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Isidoro Isidor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 17 de enero team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Isidor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Atahan Balon managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when 17 de enero team's Victoriano Iratzeder fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Atahan Balon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Isidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute 17 de enero team were awarded a corner. Den Barraclough went to the cornerflag to take it. Den Barraclough made a great header on 17 de enero team's corner, it was just that Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon managed to reach the ball for a save. Victoriano Iratzeders short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Atahan Balon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Victoriano Iratzeder in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. In the 79th minute Damian Honesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zoran Simović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
