A collision led to Dionisia getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. German Naelio hit a great ball. Kenneth Knudsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peng Sha Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute Peng Sha Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Knudsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, AEK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Melchor Gregory came free, but Kenneth Knudsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 minutes AEK FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Florencio Chano who took care of the corner kick. Kenneth Knudsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Gregory in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Remme in the 17th minute of play forced Dionisia's goalkeeper Aquiles Senio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AEK FC's Kenneth Knudsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Gregory in the 22nd minute of play. Melchor Gregory took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kenneth Knudsen. Kenneth Knudsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Dionisia's Peng Sha Yang slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kenneth Knudsen. That made the score 3-0 after 25 minutes of play. Melchor Gregory who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Kenneth Knudsen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 30 minutes into the match, Leonard Sandvær had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquiles Senio. Dionisia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonard Sandvær was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Florencio Chano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 37th minute Steve Triganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Senio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Dionisia's Kenneth Knudsen threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Melchor Gregory, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Aquiles Senio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Remme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute Melchor Gregory shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Knudsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peng Sha Yang made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Dionisia's Peng Sha Yang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kenneth Knudsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Kenneth Knudsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Gregory in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peng Sha Yang in the 57th minute of play forced AEK FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Knudsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th match minute, Dionisia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Garoa to maneuver through the defense. Kenneth Knudsen came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Dionisia's Arnaldo Beturian. But to his dismay, Arnaldo Beturian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. 77 minutes in the game Sebastian Aspelund did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Trygve Stormoen. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind AEK FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Knudsen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 80 minutes AEK FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Denis Ereinotz who took care of the corner kick. Kenneth Knudsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Beturian in the 84th minute of play. Arnaldo Beturian spun around in front of the goal 84 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of AEK FC's goal.
