In the 2nd minute Mathias-Alexander Leers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erdinç Yalgın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 4 minutes into the match, Thomas Müller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erdinç Yalgın. Mans's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomas Müller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Erdinç Yalgın was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Thomas Müller showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 9 minute of play. Su Xiang Lin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Tuzzio hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 22 played minutes Mans got a freekick which was hit by Teobald Gondek. Erdinç Yalgın showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Müller in the 32nd minute of the match. Jess Carnduff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Côme Collet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alemannia Aachen's goalkeeper Jess Carnduff, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Su Xiang Lin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valter Xabat was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Valter Xabat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erdinç Yalgın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 51 minutes into the match, Valter Xabat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erdinç Yalgın. An unexpectedly hard shot by Côme Collet in the 55th minute of play forced Alemannia Aachen's goalkeeper Jess Carnduff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alemannia Aachen's Thomas Müller got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valter Xabat took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erdinç Yalgın. Erdinç Yalgın dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Jess Carnduff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Su Xiang Lin, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Erdinç Yalgın took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Müller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jess Carnduff stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Su Xiang Lin's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Bengt Rosenbaum kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Eusébio Cosme took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jess Carnduff. Alemannia Aachen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jess Carnduff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Côme Collet in the 91st minute of the match. Mateusz Rydel kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Su Xiang Lin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Jess Carnduff made a huge save. Alemannia Aachen's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
