After a rather tough play, AtletikEdirne's Adrian Florei got a free kick in the 6th minute. Ünal Akbel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tord Söderqvist in the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, AtletikEdirne's goalkeeper Ünal Akbel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tord Söderqvist. S.C. Ferrari were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after AtletikEdirne's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Acácio de Andrade took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Váldson Arruda heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. With a little luck, AtletikEdirne's Ünal Akbel got control of the ball when Tord Söderqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Ünal Akbel managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when S.C. Ferrari's Tord Söderqvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 18 minutes into the match, S.C. Ferrari's Tord Söderqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ünal Akbel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Adrian Florei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tord Söderqvists short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Ünal Akbel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 22 minutes into the match, S.C. Ferrari's goal looked a bit too open when Batuhan Bilgin came free, but Bernardo Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. S.C. Ferrari's Sergio Mosquera quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Adrian Florei, made in the 23rd minute of the game. Tord Söderqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Ünal Akbel made a huge save. 25 minutes into the match, AtletikEdirne's goalkeeper Ünal Akbel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tord Söderqvist. Tord Söderqvist's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Ünal Akbel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 1-0 became the score in the 28th minute when Tord Söderqvist elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tord Söderqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ünal Akbel having to interfere. S.C. Ferrari's Bernardo Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bora Han Öğün in the 39th minute of play. In the 47th match minute, AtletikEdirne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Florei to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tord Söderqvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tord Söderqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ünal Akbel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. After 53 minutes, Sergio Mosquera made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. AtletikEdirne's Ünal Akbel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernardo Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilbert Harendarski, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Ünal Akbel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tord Söderqvist's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. If Tord Söderqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Acácio de Andrade's late challenge caught a AtletikEdirne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Acácio de Andrade helped the player get up and apologised. S.C. Ferrari made a substitution. Gergely Bollobás replaced Tord Söderqvist. After 64 played minutes, AtletikEdirne's Yattara Usluer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bernardo Lima came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AtletikEdirne reached it. Ünal Akbel came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by S.C. Ferrari's Gergely Bollobás. But to his dismay, Gergely Bollobás quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. S.C. Ferrari's Carlos Duarte was substituted for Patrick Angelsø. In the 74th minute Gergely Bollobás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ünal Akbel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gergely Bollobás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Ünal Akbel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, AtletikEdirne's Adrian Florei got a free kick in the 79th minute. Bernardo Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bora Han Öğün in the 82nd minute of the match. A collision led to S.C. Ferrari getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Sergio Mosquera hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the match, AtletikEdirne's goal looked a bit too open when Gergely Bollobás came free, but Ünal Akbel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ünal Akbel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gergely Bollobás, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Ünal Akbel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gergely Bollobás in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rdth minute of the game Gergely Bollobás who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AtletikEdirne's Ünal Akbel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Gergely Bollobás's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ünal Akbel was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The S.C. Ferrari players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
