KV Schoonwater's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Dany-Adams Cappels scored to the left of an out of position Artur Sterckmans, making the score, 1-0. Ief Depauw could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Artur Sterckmans made a huge save. In the 21st minute Mattias Vanden Driessche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uwe Nwachukwu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Armand Hemeleers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uwe Nwachukwu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Uwe Nwachukwu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luukas Schooters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KV Schoonwater were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after FC Draconia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luukas Schooters took the corner. The supporters of FC Draconia booed when KV Schoonwater was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luukas Schooters didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Draconia's Dre Roockeloos got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Uwe Nwachukwu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Vanden Driessche, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ief Depauw got free with Artur Sterckmans in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luukas Schooters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armand Hemeleers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Artur Sterckmans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ief Depauw, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the game, Jim Janssen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Artur Sterckmans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of FC Draconia booed when KV Schoonwater was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxime Caes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The FC Draconia fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when FC Draconia's Kristof Van Dessen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 67th match minute, FC Draconia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thijs Enfant to maneuver through the defense. If Jim Janssen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emanuel Van Damme kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Jim Janssen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Sterckmans having to interfere. Dany-Adams Cappels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kristof Van Dessen during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kristof Van Dessen kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st match minute, KV Schoonwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luukas Schooters to maneuver through the defense.
