After a rather tough play, Jonsereds IF's Robert Vidman got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Fabian Söderman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Kilstedt in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute of the match Jonsereds IF got a corner. Vykans Vikingar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dimitris Kalaintzidis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jonsereds IF's Dimitris Kalaintzidis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fabian Söderman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alexander Milošević was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 9 minutes into the match. A collision led to Vykans Vikingar getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Alexander Milošević hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Kalaintzidis came free, but Fabian Söderman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabian Söderman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Wiklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When Robert Vidman came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Jonsereds IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Vidman couldn't finish the play. Fabian Söderman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Kilstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Vykans Vikingar booed when Jonsereds IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Vidman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torbjörn Ekblom kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Dimitris Kalaintzidis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabian Söderman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Vidman in the 44th minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Fabian Söderman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sten Wiklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Fabian Söderman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronny Gunnarsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Jonsereds IF's Fabian Söderman threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hans Kilstedt, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Christer Wållander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vykans Vikingar's Fabian Söderman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredric Berg in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to Jonsereds IF getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Felix Wallengren hit a great ball. Jonsereds IF's Fredric Berg was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 62nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Christer Wållander came free, but Fabian Söderman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Fabian Söderman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hans Kilstedt. After 73 played minutes Jonsereds IF got a freekick which was hit by Fredric Berg. Fabian Söderman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Kilstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Vykans Vikingar:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jonsereds IF:s goal. A well-hit corner resulted in Robert Vidman heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 91st minute, Folke Skröder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Per Kaxe hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
