Tigran Balayan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexis Couch in the 4th minute. 10 minutes into the match, American Airlines's goal looked a bit too open when Arno Martirosyan came free, but Dale Skinner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Khachatryan's Tigran Balayan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luke Skywalker in the 11th minute of play. Big Lebowski hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Dale Skinner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Hendrik Paas in the 14th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Luke Skywalker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tigran Balayan was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Dale Skinner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Loco in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Jan Hendrik Paas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dale Skinner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of American Airlines booed when Khachatryan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ara Arakelyan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Big Lebowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. American Airlines's supporters crossed their fingers, but Big Lebowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Khachatryan's goalkeeper Tigran Balayan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luke Skywalker. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Hendrik Paas in the 26th minute of play forced American Airlines's goalkeeper Dale Skinner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dale Skinner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tigran Terzian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28thth minute of the game Houston Floyd who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Khachatryan's Tigran Balayan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Khachatryan's Tigran Balayan got control of the ball when Alexis Couch tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Houston Floyd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th match minute, American Airlines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luke Skywalker to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute of the match Ara Arakelyan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dale Skinner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 43 minutes into the match, American Airlines's goal looked a bit too open when Arno Martirosyan came free, but Dale Skinner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Alexis Couch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. American Airlines's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Khachatryan the free kick. In the 44th minute, Alexis Couch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute of the match Pawel Tomasik shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dale Skinner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 48th minute, Big Lebowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Tigran Balayan came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by American Airlines's Houston Floyd. But to his dismay, Houston Floyd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Houston Floyd kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. With a little luck, American Airlines's Dale Skinner got control of the ball when Arno Martirosyan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jan Hendrik Paas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Dale Skinner made a huge save. 67 minutes into the match, American Airlines's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Hendrik Paas came free, but Dale Skinner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Luke Skywalker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tigran Balayan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Khachatryan's zone, Kristofer Loyd stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tigran Balayan came out of the goal and Kristofer Loyd tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in American Airlines fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! Dale Skinner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan Hendrik Paas in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, American Airlines's Alexis Couch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tigran Balayan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Khachatryan's goal looked a bit too open when Kristofer Loyd came free, but Tigran Balayan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnoldo Loco might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dale Skinner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnoldo Loco ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 86thth minute of the game Alexis Couch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Khachatryan's Tigran Balayan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arno Martirosyan in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dale Skinner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Khachatryan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arno Martirosyan in the 98th minute. Fabian Page tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Dale Skinner. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-1 in the 98th minute. American Airlines's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
