Basilius Ringeli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karim Gerber in the 27th minute of the match. Karim Gerber in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Basilius Ringeli, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 32nd minute Johnny Raiola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannes Saenger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laurent Weyermann kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Tarada's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Gerber came free, but Basilius Ringeli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 minutes, Luca Parolini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Wil 1900 and the Tarada players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, FC Wil 1900's Hannes Saenger got control of the ball when Johnny Raiola tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to FC Wil 1900 getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Cliff Tschupp hit a great ball. In the 95th minute Adam Hinnen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilius Ringeli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Wil 1900's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
