Generoso Ritchie started the match with the kick off. Esteve Kusko hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Caballeritos del Baile's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Confesor came free, but Damián Martínez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Caballeritos del Baile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Rasialdo to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute of the match Guillermo Beat shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damián Martínez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 19th match minute, Caballeritos del Baile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Rasialdo to maneuver through the defense. Generoso Ritchie kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Caballeritos del Baile's Damián Martínez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Caballeritos del Baile from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Eder during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 31 played minutes Islas FC got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Eder. Caballeritos del Baile's Generoso Ritchie got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ryan York's late challenge caught a Caballeritos del Baile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ryan York helped the player get up and apologised. Ryan York hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Damián Martínez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eriberto Felipillo in the 35th minute. Generoso Ritchie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dionisio Abaurre having to make a save. 37 minutes into the match, Islas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Generoso Ritchie came free, but Dionisio Abaurre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Generoso Ritchie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Abaurre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Caballeritos del Baile getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Esteve Kusko hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Islas FC's Benedicto Tonete was substituted for Eriberto Felipillo. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oscar Confesor made a kick off. If Generoso Ritchie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dionisio Abaurre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Ritchie in the 59th minute of play. Generoso Ritchie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Dionisio Abaurre made a huge save. Damián Martínez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Tonete, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Damián Martínez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Ubendu in the 81st minute of play. Caballeritos del Baile's Generoso Ritchie got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Confesor in the 90th minute of play forced Caballeritos del Baile's goalkeeper Damián Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Confesor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Damián Martínez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
