After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Enrique Ikatz managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Renacer del Quijano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Ikatz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliberto Oihenarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Simbo FC's zone, Enrique Ikatz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliberto Oihenarte came out of the goal and Enrique Ikatz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, El Renacer del Quijano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Jurdan came free, but Carolo Perico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, El Renacer del Quijano FC's Feliciano Oskarbi got a free kick in the 64th minute. The supporters of Simbo FC booed when El Renacer del Quijano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Aguirre didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Natalio Hulberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, El Renacer del Quijano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lis Tagliani came free, but Carolo Perico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simbo FC's Feliberto Oihenarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Aguirre in the 94th minute of play. Guido Šuler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Carolo Perico made a huge save. 96 minutes into the game, Rogelio Aguirre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Renacer del Quijano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Simbo FC the free kick. When the match was over Simbo FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than El Renacer del Quijano FC throughout the match.
