Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Florentino Benet took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Northern California's Wlodzimierz Januszewski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Javier Valente narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Leonel Castulo fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Unidad de Matanza's protests and gave Leonel Castulo a yellow card for diving instead. Leonel Castulo hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Wlodzimierz Januszewski struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Javier Valente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Northern California. In the 8th minute, Wlodzimierz Januszewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Northern California fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Reynaldo Rios's late challenge caught a Northern California's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reynaldo Rios helped the player get up and apologised. After 14 played minutes Unidad de Matanza got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Rios. In the 15th minute Wlodzimierz Januszewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wlodzimierz Januszewski in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier Valente saved Unidad de Matanza from getting behind. Wlodzimierz Januszewski might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Javier Valente. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wlodzimierz Januszewski ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wlodzimierz Januszewski in the 21st minute of play forced Unidad de Matanza's goalkeeper Javier Valente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Javier Valente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wlodzimierz Januszewski in the 23rd minute of the match. Unidad de Matanza's Javier Valente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wlodzimierz Januszewski in the 26th minute of play. Ricardo Maria's late challenge caught a Northern California's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Maria helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute of the match Luciano Goizeder shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Javier Valente showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Atilano Ulizes struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Alec Parslow didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unidad de Matanza. In the 35th minute, Atilano Ulizes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florentino Benet in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Javier Valente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 38 minutes into the match, Florentino Benet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Javier Valente. Unidad de Matanza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florentino Benet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Javier Valente didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florentino Benet went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ismael Jenaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wlodzimierz Januszewski might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Javier Valente. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wlodzimierz Januszewski ran back to his position shaking his head. Javier Valente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wlodzimierz Januszewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Wlodzimierz Januszewskis short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Javier Valente to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 58th minute of the match Northern California got a corner. Unidad de Matanza's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luciano Goizeder ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nunez Savier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alec Parslow read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Wlodzimierz Januszewski rounded Unidad de Matanza's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. Wlodzimierz Januszewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Florentino Benet scored 0-5 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Javier Valente, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Florentino Benet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Northern California's supporters rose to their feet, but Florentino Benet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier Valente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Northern California's Victoriano Herauso got a free kick in the 91st minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Reynaldo Rios managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unidad de Matanza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Rios was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Northern California played a much better game than Unidad de Matanza and deserved their victory. The Unidad de Matanza players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
