A nice corner shot did that Cai Bing Cheng got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anier Balendin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Anier Balendin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabi Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Calvet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Laurin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Peru in the 13th minute of play. After 14 minutes of play, Magic is Back's Gabi Batistuta made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anier Balendin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 18th minute, Gabi Batistuta made a precise shot to the right of Anier Balendin. BAC Belgrano de Cba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind BAC Belgrano de Cba's goalkeeper Anier Balendin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind BAC Belgrano de Cba's goalkeeper Anier Balendin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Eleuterio Sandaili hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabi Batistuta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Magic is Back's Gabi Batistuta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anier Balendin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Frans in the 44th minute of play forced BAC Belgrano de Cba's goalkeeper Anier Balendin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Magic is Back's Cai Bing Cheng got a free kick in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodosio Frans to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodosio Frans got free with Anier Balendin in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gabi Batistuta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Magic is Back's Rodrigo Palacios was substituted for Teodosio Frans. 69 minutes into the match, BAC Belgrano de Cba's goal looked a bit too open when Gabi Batistuta came free, but Anier Balendin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 minutes BAC Belgrano de Cba's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Claudio Marangoni who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Gabi Batistuta managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a defensive mix-up in BAC Belgrano de Cba's zone, Gabi Batistuta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anier Balendin came out of the goal and Gabi Batistuta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. BAC Belgrano de Cba's Anier Balendin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabi Batistuta in the 81st minute of play. A collision led to Magic is Back getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Claudio Marangoni hit a great ball. After 92 played minutes BAC Belgrano de Cba got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Calvet. Anier Balendin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Palacios in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute, Braulio Peru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BAC Belgrano de Cba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Magic is Back eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
