Urbano Azeari started the match with the kick off. Rogelio Lope hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. When Menchu FC's Urbano Azeari in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Timo!'s goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Urbano Azeari in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Selatse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 12 minutes, Urbano Azeari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Menchu FC and the Timo! players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luis Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Azeari in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Urbano Chorche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hernan Diaz kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Jacinto Ostots made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Ilixo in the 27th minute of play. Jacinto Ostots showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Curcio in the 28th minute of the match. Urbano Azeari scored 0-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luis Selatse, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Menchu FC's Felipe Quentin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mauricio Curcio, made in the 36th minute of the game. With his leg Jacinto Ostots managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Timo!'s Rene Ilixo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 43 minutes into the match, Timo!'s goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Quentin came free, but Luis Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Selatse didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Quentin went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After the first half Menchu FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rene Ilixo to make the kick off. If Urbano Azeari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timo!'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Felipe Quentin 53 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. The supporters of Menchu FC booed when Timo! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Chorche didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urbano Azeari got free with Luis Selatse in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gilberto Iturri charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilberto Iturri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Timo!'s Gilberto Iturri got a free kick in the 61st minute. 62 minutes in the game, Felipe Quentin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Luis Selatse having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Quentin in the 67th minute of play forced Timo!'s goalkeeper Luis Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Menchu FC's Marcelo Gallardo got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 76th match minute, Timo! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Txatxu to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Menchu FC's Urbano Azeari ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luis Selatse. Luis Selatse yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. A collision led to Timo! getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Mauricio Curcio hit a great ball. Luis Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Quentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Timo!'s zone, Urbano Azeari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Selatse came out of the goal and Urbano Azeari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Timo!'s Luis Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Gallardo in the 95th minute of play. When the match was over Menchu FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Timo! throughout the match.
