Eustaquio Maria hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Victorino Gaufred didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Santana went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Victorino Gaufred showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Ler, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Lando in the 18th minute of play forced Piratas FC's goalkeeper Victorino Gaufred to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Piratas FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Virgilio Lobo hit a great ball. Godofredo Bakar kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Leones FC's Martin Rami sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victorino Gaufred narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Leones FC booed when Piratas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Bakar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute of the match Severino Ler sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victorino Gaufred skillfully saved the ball. Victorino Gaufred came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Leones FC's Carlos Santana. But to his dismay, Carlos Santana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 44 minutes into the game, Arnulfo Lidon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piratas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leones FC the free kick. In the 44th match minute, Piratas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulfo Lidon to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Lando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Gaufred having to interfere. Eustaquio Maria kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Arnulfo Lidon made the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Bartolo Cresconio in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Piratas FC's Dalmacio Rik. After 54 played minutes Piratas FC got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Gaitano. Aureliano Obeko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Lidon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Piratas FC's Eustaquio Maria got a free kick in the 60th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Lando during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Miguel Lando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 minutes of play, Piratas FC's Efrain Berdoi made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aureliano Obeko was left in no man's land by his defense there! 92 minutes into the match, Piratas FC's goalkeeper Victorino Gaufred had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severino Ler. A sloppy throw-in by Amado Jordy in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Piratas FC's Angel Isusko. After 94 played minutes Piratas FC got a freekick which was hit by Angel Isusko. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Santana got free with Victorino Gaufred in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Piratas FC's Victorino Gaufred proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 99th minute of the match, managed to save Piratas FC from getting a goal against them. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Leones FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
