Alfonso Rulli didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Iordache Opincaru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OROTINENSE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borussia Dortmund the free kick. Elazar Villametide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liu Yong Yong having to interfere. A nice corner shot did that Songurhan Mete got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bermudo Mestre quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frasquito Quijana in the 31st minute of play forced OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Liu Yong Yong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bermudo Mestre came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by OROTINENSE's Jacek Walczak. But to his dismay, Jacek Walczak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Iordache Opincaru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Bermudo Mestre made a huge save. Bermudo Mestre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Songurhan Mete in the 45th minute of play. When Nuno Orihuela fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored OROTINENSE's protests and gave Nuno Orihuela a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes OROTINENSE got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Orihuela. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jacek Walczak made the kick off in the second half. Liu Yong Yong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elazar Villametide in the 54th minute of the match. Bermudo Mestre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Songurhan Mete in the 59th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Frasquito Quijana kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Liu Yong Yong. That made the score 3-1 in the 70 minute of play. OROTINENSE made a substitution. Sigvald Birkborg replaced Songurhan Mete. Bermudo Mestre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruhi Uluöz in the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's goal looked a bit too open when Frasquito Quijana came free, but Liu Yong Yong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 played minutes Borussia Dortmund got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Lampez. Borussia Dortmund's Bermudo Mestre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iordache Opincaru in the 80th minute of play. Elazar Villametide blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Liu Yong Yong having to make a save. In the 85th minute, Sigvald Birkborg made a precise shot to the right of Bermudo Mestre. Borussia Dortmund's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1.
