After 3 minutes, Arlo Albiz made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Variante Delta's Theobald Secanell tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Variante Delta's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Conrado Faron scored to the left of an out of position Theobald Secanell, making the score, 3-0. A collision led to Caaguazu getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Mambru Zaitegui hit a great ball. Júnior Trans struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Johnny Paredes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Variante Delta. Conrado Faron's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Theobald Secanell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Anselmo Cegama managed to get in a good position for a shot. Variante Delta's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Cegama was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johnny Paredes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arlo Albizs short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Theobald Secanell to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Anselmo Cegama's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Johnny Paredes was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anselmo Cegama in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johnny Paredes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reyes Barcenilla hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th match minute, Caaguazu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malvin Vidaurre to maneuver through the defense. Johnny Paredes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anselmo Cegama's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. With his leg Theobald Secanell managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Caaguazu's Arlo Albiz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 35 minutes into the match, Arlo Albiz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Theobald Secanell, 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Conrado Faron kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Theobald Secanell. That made the score 5-0 in the 38 minute of play. Arlo Albiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Conrado Farons short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Theobald Secanell to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arlo Albiz to strike the kick off in the second half. Arlo Albiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Theobald Secanell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the game, Conrado Faron cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Theobald Secanell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 58th minute Conrado Faron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theobald Secanell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Caaguazu fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Caaguazu's Conrado Faron looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 62 played minutes Variante Delta got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Cegama. Theobald Secanell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reyes Barcenilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Arlo Albiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Theobald Secanell was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. 10-0 became the score in the 93rd minute when Arlo Albiz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Caaguazu's Mambru Zaitegui got a free kick in the 96th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Caaguazu fully deserved thier win.
