The supporters of Zemantauskas FC booed when Passa o Tanque MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genílson Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute of the match, Genílson França got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sílvio Penha was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Genílson França could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Sílvio Penha made a huge save. If Hélio Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Passa o Tanque MZ booed when Zemantauskas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernani Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Genílson França had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sílvio Penha. Zemantauskas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Genílson França was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Zemantauskas FC's Sílvio Penha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Zemantauskas FC from getting a goal against them. If Davi Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the game, Genílson França recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sílvio Penha. Genílson França showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 48 played minutes Zemantauskas FC got a freekick which was hit by Alex Berger. After a defensive mix-up in Zemantauskas FC's zone, Toninho Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Penha came out of the goal and Toninho Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Igor Britto kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Sílvio Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélio Bittencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sílvio Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toninho Dias in the 59th minute of the match. Carlinhos Carvalho made a great header on Passa o Tanque MZ's corner, it was just that Zemantauskas FC's Sílvio Penha managed to reach the ball for a save. Davi Mello kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Sílvio Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélio Bittencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sílvio Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho Dias in the 67th minute of play. Sílvio Penha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Genílson França went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After 86 minutes of play, Passa o Tanque MZ's André Luís Leite made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sílvio Penha was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Passa o Tanque MZ booed when Zemantauskas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos de Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Passa o Tanque MZ fully deserved thier win.
