In the 11th match minute, AS Pikachuzim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, AS Pikachuzim's Vito Batista got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Jaime Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 18 played minutes Atlético Minuano got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Guimarães. Marcelo Linares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vito Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute Lauro Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz Matorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Atlético Minuano fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Atlético Minuano's Lauro Torres looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 31 minutes, Ulisses Teixeira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AS Pikachuzim and the Atlético Minuano players grew even worse after the yellow card. 36 minutes into the match, AS Pikachuzim's goal looked a bit too open when Cléber Ribeiro came free, but Pedro Luiz Matorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Luiz Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauro Torres in the 39th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Marcelo Linares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vito Batista to strike the kick off in the second half. Vito Batista scored 1-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelo Linares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. AS Pikachuzim's Pedro Luiz Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléber Ribeiro in the 56th minute of play. Pedro Luiz Matorin made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Lauro Torres sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, Jaime Teixeira notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Atlético Minuano's Marcelo Linares. Marcelo Linares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Atlético Minuano getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Cléber Ribeiro hit a great ball. Atlético Minuano's Marcelo Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Teixeira in the 75th minute of play. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by AS Pikachuzim's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gonçalo Tinoco was slow to take the kick. During this time Atlético Minuano's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Gonçalo Tinoco almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AS Pikachuzim's Pedro Luiz Matorin did a great save. Marcelo Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Teixeira in the 84th minute of the match. Cléber Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Pedro Luiz Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Atlético Minuano getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Romário Monteiro hit a great ball. Marcelo Linares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleiton Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Atlético Minuano's Marcelo Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito Batista in the 97th minute of play. Atlético Minuano's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
