The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Régis Marinho rounded Leripe Lifestyle's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. If Donato Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Donato Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. João Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Donato Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot. BMB IMOVEIS SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Marques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Paulista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute Donato Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Paulista came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by BMB IMOVEIS SC's Donato Marques. But to his dismay, Donato Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 40th minute, Renan Madureira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cafu de Senna was the one to do the kick off. Donato Marques charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donato Marques the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th minute, Donato Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cauã Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Donato Marques had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Paulista. Leripe Lifestyle's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Donato Marques was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Leripe Lifestyle made a substitution. Bebeto Bala replaced Sam Huveneers. Sérgio de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durvalino Penha in the 72nd minute of the match. João Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Marques in the 74th minute of play. Donato Marques scored 5-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Paulista, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rui Lima's late challenge caught a BMB IMOVEIS SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rui Lima helped the player get up and apologised. Rui Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Luís Fernando Tavares took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for João Paulista. Leripe Lifestyle's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Geovânio Torres struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Sérgio de Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leripe Lifestyle. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cafu de Senna in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Paulista saved Leripe Lifestyle from getting behind. João Paulista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. A collision led to Leripe Lifestyle getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Dale Perkins hit a great ball. Dale Perkins kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Bebeto Bala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, BMB IMOVEIS SC could leave the field as winners, despite Leripe Lifestyle having more of the ball for most of the match.
