The supporters of Atlético Minuano booed when BMB IMOVEIS SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renan Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cafu de Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Marques in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th match minute, BMB IMOVEIS SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafu de Senna to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, BMB IMOVEIS SC's Laerte Arantes got a free kick in the 12th minute. If Donato Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cafu de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 25 minutes into the match, Atlético Minuano's goal looked a bit too open when Cafu de Senna came free, but Marcelo Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gonçalo Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Marques in the 32nd minute of play forced Atlético Minuano's goalkeeper Marcelo Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sílvio Dantas hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, BMB IMOVEIS SC's goalkeeper Sérgio de Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lauro Torres. A collision led to Atlético Minuano getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Duda Soares hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lauro Torres made a kick off. In the 59th minute Donato Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laerte Arantes kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Dedé Alagoano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Linares having to interfere. Tiago Santos hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Lauro Torres struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Sérgio de Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Minuano. Donato Marques received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcelo Linares came out and tried to block the shot, but Donato Marques slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute Dedé Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Atlético Minuano booed when BMB IMOVEIS SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cafu de Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. The BMB IMOVEIS SC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing BMB IMOVEIS SC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
