After 4 played minutes A.C. Patagonia got a freekick which was hit by Edoardo Paris. A.C. Patagonia's Francesco Flachi got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francesco Flachi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Beppe Savoia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Beppe Savoia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Baggio, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Beppe Savoia was a little too slow when Roberto Baggio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edoardo Paris during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 29 minutes into the game, Filippo Punta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carloforte f.c.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.C. Patagonia the free kick. In the 29th match minute, Carloforte f.c. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filippo Punta to maneuver through the defense. After 32 played minutes A.C. Patagonia got a freekick which was hit by Edoardo Paris. Filippo Punta kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. A.C. Patagonia's Dennis Cala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo De Vito in the 38th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Elia Crisantemo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of A.C. Patagonia's Dennis Cala. Dennis Cala was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arturo De Vito to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo De Vito in the 54th minute of play forced A.C. Patagonia's goalkeeper Dennis Cala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Roberto Baggio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.C. Patagonia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. After a rather tough play, A.C. Patagonia's Angelo Di Livio got a free kick in the 57th minute. 4-2 became the score in the 60th minute when Francesco Flachi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 64th match minute, A.C. Patagonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edoardo Paris to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rdth minute of the game Francesco Flachi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carloforte f.c.'s Beppe Savoia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When A.C. Patagonia's Francesco Flachi in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carloforte f.c.'s goalie prevented a goal. Beppe Savoia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Corrente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beppe Savoia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francesco Flachi's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 86thth minute of the game Francesco Flachi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carloforte f.c.'s Beppe Savoia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Roberto Baggio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carloforte f.c.'s goalkeeper Beppe Savoia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A.C. Patagonia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
