The Old Boys's Aquilino Lauren got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Nemesio Clemencin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PARNASOVFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The Old Boys's Vinicio Bidari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Jokin in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute Jairo Lizar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Blasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amancio Blasi made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Leonel Iratzeder sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in PARNASOVFC's zone, Sixto Cloyo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amancio Blasi came out of the goal and Sixto Cloyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sixto Cloyo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Amancio Blasi made a huge save. The supporters of The Old Boys booed when PARNASOVFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Elixio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amancio Blasi made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Pablo Larios sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute Sixto Cloyo suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 46 played minutes PARNASOVFC got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Harkaitz. When Leonel Iratzeder came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the The Old Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonel Iratzeder couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonel Iratzeder was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Vinicio Bidari successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jairo Lizar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 62 minutes into the game, when Aquilino Lauren put in a rough tackle. In the 61st minute, one of The Old Boys:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for The Old Boys. 66 minutes into the match, PARNASOVFC's David Ruisko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vinicio Bidari narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of The Old Boys booed when PARNASOVFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Clemencin didn't get a good kick on the ball. PARNASOVFC's Ceferino Martxel was substituted for Cristobal Harkaitz. If Pablo Larios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute.
