The supporters of Loja S.C. booed when DALO S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rey Peralta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xarles Barrieta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramos Pejuan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Ramos Pejuan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xarles Barrieta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Aceituno charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peter Aceituno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, DALO S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Aceituno to maneuver through the defense. After 16 played minutes, Loja S.C.'s Urtun Baldaliso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ramos Pejuan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Loja S.C. reached it. Ismael Rossell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urtzi Costas in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Norberto Trespuentes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ismael Rossell. The goal made the score 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodriguez Huera got free with Ismael Rossell in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes into the match, DALO S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Luis-Antonio Barraza came free, but Ramos Pejuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

In the 74th minute, Rey Peralta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Loja S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Trespuentes came free, but Ismael Rossell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramos Pejuan came out of the goal and Luis-Antonio Barraza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. DALO S.C. had won after a very even match.
