Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Oswaldo Barrionuevo got the match started through his kick off. After 2 played minutes Taltum FC got a freekick which was hit by Xinaro Cerdeira. Asensio Mendoza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Urki Espino went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 9 minutes into the match, Fabricio Illan notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Club Puerto Quito's Johnny Conill. Johnny Conill was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 12 minutes into the game, Oswaldo Barrionuevo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Asensio Mendoza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Asensio Mendoza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oswaldo Barrionuevo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 21 minutes into the game, when Arturo Azpiazu put in a rough tackle. Arturo Azpiazu kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Puerto Quito's zone, Ordóñez Cuesta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnny Conill came out of the goal and Ordóñez Cuesta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Johnny Conill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ordóñez Cuesta, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Vitin Martin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asensio Mendoza having to interfere. Taltum FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Oswaldo Barrionuevo scored to the left of an out of position Asensio Mendoza, making the score, 4-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Puerto Quito's Suscal Carmenes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Asensio Mendoza. That made the score 5-1 after 38 minutes of play. 42 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goalkeeper Asensio Mendoza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oswaldo Barrionuevo. In the 45th minute, Club Puerto Quito's Oswaldo Barrionuevo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Asensio Mendoza. Asensio Mendoza yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-1.

In the 52nd minute, Marcelo Noceda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Puerto Quito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Marcelo Noceda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Puerto Quito's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Noceda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Asensio Mendoza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Taltum FC's Juan-Alfredo Blanquel got a free kick in the 66th minute. Asensio Mendoza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oswaldo Barrionuevo in the 67th minute of play. Suscal Carmenes hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Puerto Quito's zone, Fabricio Illan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnny Conill came out of the goal and Fabricio Illan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute, Vennancio Sombredo had to leave the field with a concussion. When Rodolfo Bonilla fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Puerto Quito's protests and gave Rodolfo Bonilla a yellow card for diving instead. Taltum FC made a substitution. Mane Montaña replaced Vennancio Sombredo. After 72 played minutes Club Puerto Quito got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Bonilla. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Illan in the 73rd minute of play forced Club Puerto Quito's goalkeeper Johnny Conill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan-Alfredo Blanquel was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 75 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Club Puerto Quito. Marcelo Noceda stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Asensio Mendoza. 9-1. Asensio Mendoza came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Puerto Quito's Marcelo Noceda. But to his dismay, Marcelo Noceda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-1. In the 88th minute, Xinaro Cerdeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Garagorri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Asensio Mendoza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Taltum FC's Mane Montaña got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Johnny Conill was a little too slow when Mane Montaña got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 10-2.
