In the 19thth minute of the game Julio-César Romo-Leroux who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Inter de Guayaquil FC's Romo Ungo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Romo Ungo stood somewhat misplaced when Lisandro Masses came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 20 minute. The crowd rose to their feet as RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's Diego Quintianan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Romo Ungo. That made the score 3-0 after 23 minutes of play. Lisandro Masses who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Romo Ungo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 29 minutes into the game, RomoLerouX UniteD UXX's Lisandro Masses nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romo Ungo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 33rd minute of the match, Isaac Candina got a very nice opportunity to score, but Romo Ungo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 34 minutes into the match, Blanco Lambarida had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kaapro Romo-Leroux. Lisandro Masses received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Romo Ungo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
