The supporters of CSD Concepción booed when Barrabases de Victoria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurilio Neculman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delfino Leyton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germán Cano, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. If Eufrasio Dueñas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gerard Vásquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Maurilio Neculman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tiro Bolas. The goal made the score 1-0. After 28 minutes, Juan María Tellerias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrabases de Victoria and the CSD Concepción players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Barrabases de Victoria getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Juan María Tellerias hit a great ball. In the 29th minute Mario Flores shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfino Leyton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Navarrete made a great header on CSD Concepción's corner, it was just that Barrabases de Victoria's Delfino Leyton managed to reach the ball for a save. After 35 played minutes Barrabases de Victoria got a freekick which was hit by Javiero Velarde. Mario Flores kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Tiro Bolas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurilio Neculman in the 38th minute of play. Arturo Navarrete struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Delfino Leyton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSD Concepción. But to his dismay, Daud Gazale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Daud Gazale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Barrabases de Victoria's Delfino Leyton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Barrabases de Victoria from getting a goal against them. When Arturo Navarrete came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the CSD Concepción fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Navarrete couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute, Chico Ortega made a precise shot to the right of Delfino Leyton. Barrabases de Victoria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Barrabases de Victoria's Delfino Leyton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eufrasio Dueñas in the 83rd minute of play. Javiero Velarde kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Barrabases de Victoria's Alcadio Rast was substituted for Narcomillo Parot. CSD Concepción played a much better game than Barrabases de Victoria and deserved their victory. The Barrabases de Victoria players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
