In the 8thth minute of the game José Julio Almi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Deportivo Xpertin's Savier Arco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, U. de Tarapacá's Romeo Bermúdez got a free kick in the 11th minute. U. de Tarapacá's Kåre Nochev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael De Leger in the 12th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Héctor Gajardo in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kåre Nochev saved U. de Tarapacá from getting behind. The Club Deportivo Xpertin fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Club Deportivo Xpertin's Héctor Gajardo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kåre Nochev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael De Leger, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Juan José J.J. could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Savier Arco made a huge save. Savier Arco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Julio Almi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan José J.J. in the 24th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Xpertin's goalkeeper Savier Arco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as U. de Tarapacá's Juan José J.J. slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Savier Arco. That made the score 1-1 after 26 minutes of play. Kåre Nochev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Héctor Gajardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 31st match minute, U. de Tarapacá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Gustavo Lantaño to maneuver through the defense. After 33 played minutes U. de Tarapacá got a freekick which was hit by Paulín Jurado. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Héctor Gajardo put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Kåre Nochev. When Club Deportivo Xpertin's Michael De Leger in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 42 played minutes Club Deportivo Xpertin got a freekick which was hit by Oriol Dagnino. 44 minutes into the match, U. de Tarapacá's goal looked a bit too open when Michael De Leger came free, but Kåre Nochev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan José J.J. fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Savier Arco having to interfere. The U. de Tarapacá players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Deportivo Xpertin were winning 1-2.
U. de Tarapacá's Quentín Saravia managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Maxín Medel in the 52 minute of the game. Quentín Saravia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Savier Arco. Club Deportivo Xpertin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Savier Arco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan José J.J., who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Michael De Leger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Deportivo Xpertin's supporters rose to their feet, but Michael De Leger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kåre Nochev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kåre Nochev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tauro Ahues went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Kåre Nochev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tauro Ahues in the 64th minute. Juan José J.J. sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 69 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Xpertin's goal looked a bit too open when Juan José J.J. came free, but Savier Arco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 minutes of play, Club Deportivo Xpertin's Tauro Ahues made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kåre Nochev was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 73rd minute, Club Deportivo Xpertin's Michael De Leger ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kåre Nochev. Kåre Nochev yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Savier Arco came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by U. de Tarapacá's Juan José J.J.. But to his dismay, Juan José J.J. quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. Kåre Nochev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael De Leger, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. U. de Tarapacá's Kåre Nochev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save U. de Tarapacá from getting a goal against them. With his leg Kåre Nochev managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Club Deportivo Xpertin's Héctor Gajardo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kåre Nochev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael De Leger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Kåre Nochev managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Club Deportivo Xpertin's Héctor Gajardo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 95 minutes, Alonso Venturino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U. de Tarapacá and the Club Deportivo Xpertin players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match was over Club Deportivo Xpertin could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than U. de Tarapacá throughout the match.
