The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Racing Club's Efmamjjasond Bronco was substituted for Mario Silban. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruno Moneda made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Epifanio Txomin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Epifanio Txomin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epifanio Txomin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Epifanio Txomin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tristan Franquis, 1-1. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara made a substitution. Anastasios Machlas replaced Bruno Moneda. Braulio Castulo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Imperio Catatumbo de Lara booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Austin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Racing Club.
