Mitch Dekens started the match with the kick off. Aaron Inge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgílio Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 4 played minutes Branco FC got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Etxeberri. The supporters of Reko-Recko 03™ booed when Branco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Bazil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reko-Recko 03™'s Angelino Nueva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Reko-Recko 03™ from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sten Nordin got free with Angelino Nueva in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the match, Branco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Virgílio Trigo came free, but Aaron Inge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 played minutes Branco FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Bazil. In the 20th minute, Mai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute Virgílio Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Inge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelino Nueva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mitch Dekens in the 27th minute of play. Aaron Inge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgílio Trigo in the 33rd minute of the match. Sten Nordin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Angelino Nueva made a huge save. Gilmar Prestes kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitch Dekens in the 41st minute of play forced Reko-Recko 03™'s goalkeeper Angelino Nueva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mitch Dekens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Angelino Nueva made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aristides Etxeberri during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aristides Etxeberri kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After 45 minutes of play, Reko-Recko 03™'s Virgílio Trigo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aaron Inge was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Montes in the 71st minute of play forced Reko-Recko 03™'s goalkeeper Angelino Nueva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xande Cabezudo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute Eugenio Rio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Nueva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xande Cabezudo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aaron Inge having to make a save. 82 minutes into the match, Branco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano França came free, but Aaron Inge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Reko-Recko 03™ booed when Branco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Etxeberri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th match minute, Branco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Arnalt to maneuver through the defense. The Reko-Recko 03™ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Reko-Recko 03™ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
