An unexpectedly hard shot by Magnus Steinwart in the 3rd minute of play forced Royal PSG's goalkeeper Bacary Filloux to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bacary Filloux showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kalle Molnit in the 5th minute of the match. Jean-Yves Fresnais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Rehsensteen having to interfere. Fredrik Rehsensteen came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Royal PSG's Maurice Chalaye. But to his dismay, Maurice Chalaye quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Fredrik Rehsensteen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurice Chalaye in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute Magnus Steinwart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bacary Filloux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bacary Filloux took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kalle Molnit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bacary Filloux showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kalle Molnit in the 25th minute of the match. Kalle Molnit took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bacary Filloux. Bacary Filloux dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Royal PSG's goalkeeper Bacary Filloux, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Holmkjar Hotspurs's zone, Maurice Chalaye stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fredrik Rehsensteen came out of the goal and Maurice Chalaye tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th minute, Kalle Molnit made a precise shot to the right of Bacary Filloux. Royal PSG's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Maurice Chalaye hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Thomas Ribiere charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thomas Ribiere the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With an all-out effort, Holmkjar Hotspurs's Bacary Filloux threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kalle Molnit, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 56th minute Holmkjar Hotspurs were awarded a corner. Vagner Vennitze went to the cornerflag to take it. Royal PSG's Bacary Filloux proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Royal PSG from getting a goal against them. In the 64th minute, Royal PSG's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vagner Vennitze fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Royal PSG's Jean-Yves Fresnais got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Edvard Lillebroe was substituted for Thorstein Brasbøl. Maurice Chalaye might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fredrik Rehsensteen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maurice Chalaye ran back to his position shaking his head. Bacary Filloux came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Holmkjar Hotspurs's Magnus Steinwart. But to his dismay, Magnus Steinwart quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 87th minute, Oluf Ankerbøl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Holmkjar Hotspurs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Franck Lydicksen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Bacary Filloux when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 93rd match minute, Holmkjar Hotspurs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunther Kjærbye to maneuver through the defense. Chris Le Clainche took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fredrik Rehsensteen. Holmkjar Hotspurs's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
