Iwan Dziuma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edoardo Filippini, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Izard got free with Iwan Dziuma in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Royal PSG's attentive Théophile Boutillier managed to snatch the ball when Witold Hodyl made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. Lázaro Prestes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tristan Bétourne read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Royal PSG's goalkeeper Tristan Bétourne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Heide FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Witold Hodyl in the 26th minute. The corner ended in Witold Hodyl almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Royal PSG's Tristan Bétourne did a great save. Edoardo Filippini struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Iwan Dziuma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Royal PSG. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Prestes in the 39th minute of play forced Royal PSG's goalkeeper Tristan Bétourne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Royal PSG's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Prestes came free, but Tristan Bétourne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Lázaro Prestes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Heide FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lázaro Prestes to make the kick off. Heide FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marin Romoşan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tristan Bétourne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rd minute Samuel Izard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Dziuma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iwan Dziuma came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Royal PSG's Edoardo Filippini. But to his dismay, Edoardo Filippini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.
