Ronnie Hellström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelson Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Valette Stars were furious when Mathys Chassot was red carded, 11 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 12th match minute, Valette Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathys Chassot to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Valette Stars's zone, Okaner Dilşad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrien Tanneau came out of the goal and Okaner Dilşad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the match, Valette Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Kling came free, but Adrien Tanneau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nelson Nogueira made in the 18th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Guillaume Chaine. Valette Stars's Adrien Tanneau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Valette Stars from getting a goal against them. Carl Kling who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Adrien Tanneau when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Carl Kling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Adrien Tanneau made a huge save. Saul Eriz charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saul Eriz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adrien Tanneau made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Carl Kling sent off a good shot on target. Ronnie Hellström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guillaume Chaine's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. The throw-in from Saul Eriz in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Gnaget United FC's Gary Pallister. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Adrien Tanneau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Kling in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute Siro Benvido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrien Tanneau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 96th play minutes Fabián de Brito shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Adrien Tanneau and just under the crossbar into goal. Gnaget United FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
