The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jano Palmeira made in the 6th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by F.Salgado F.C.'s Leonel Antunes. 12 minutes into the match, F.Salgado F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Brito came free, but Matt Ryan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Macaneață in the 14th minute of play forced Minotauro's goalkeeper Duarte de Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Macaneață blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duarte de Barros having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Macaneață got free with Duarte de Barros in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute Teodoro Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte de Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Romeu Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoro Moreno took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Duarte de Barros. Duarte de Barros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Minotauro made a substitution. Tales Vasconcelos replaced Claudinei Brito. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodoro Moreno to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, F.Salgado F.C.'s Teodoro Moreno made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duarte de Barros was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 61st minute Teodoro Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte de Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute of the match F.Salgado F.C. got a corner. Minotauro's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Siro Rainerio ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 66th minute, Robert Macaneață got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Minotauro's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Moreno came free, but Duarte de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st match minute, F.Salgado F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evandro Porto to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to F.Salgado F.C. getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Leonel Antunes hit a great ball. In the 77th minute Teodoro Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte de Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Moreno in the 79th minute of play forced Minotauro's goalkeeper Duarte de Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duarte de Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Moreno in the 80th minute of the match. The corner led F.Salgado F.C.'s Dawid Dziewulski to fire away a dangerous shot which Duarte de Barros despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Romeu Sousa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Minotauro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.Salgado F.C. the free kick. Teodoro Moreno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duarte de Barros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Eliseu Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. F.Salgado F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
