Manole Tăcutu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 19th minute, Aristide Nichita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The -BZF- Valea Buzăului fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Leontin Stegaru's late challenge caught a FC Steaua Pildesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leontin Stegaru helped the player get up and apologised. Manole Tăcutu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marius Cănănău in the 27th minute of the match. Marius Cănănău who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Manole Tăcutu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 50th minute by Emanuel Ioanițiu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Emanuel Ioanițiu managed to work through FC Steaua Pildesti's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Emanuel Ioanițiu dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sabin Cândroveanu got free with Luca Corcoveanu in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the -BZF- Valea Buzăului defense, Gheorghe Vlăsiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manole Tăcutu. The -BZF- Valea Buzăului fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manole Tăcutu should have stopped the shot. Leontin Stegaru was shown his second yellow card after 74 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 74th match minute, -BZF- Valea Buzăului was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leontin Stegaru to maneuver through the defense. Adrian Dragoș lost his temper 76 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground.
