In the 18th minute of the match Shuspendemo got a corner. the mills's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zaid Romero ran over to the corner to take the kick. 20 minutes into the match, the mills's goalkeeper Cornelio Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nacho Gol. In the 28th match minute, the mills was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raymon Recio to maneuver through the defense. Nacho Gol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Noboa having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Borja made a kick off. Cornelio Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Melchor Cordaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Itzaina Guixot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The coaching staff of the mills protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Raymon Recio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. There was no doubt that Shuspendemo were the better team. Shuspendemo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
