Thanks to some nice moves Ferdinand Chirculescu could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Traian Sucigan however easily saved by the left post. Iurie Cocoș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Smarandache, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Iurie Cocoș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vintilă Bâru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Vintilă Bâru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iurie Cocoș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Traian Sucigan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Năstase, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Dan Năstase kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Traian Sucigan. That made the score 1-0 in the 33 minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Ferdinand Chirculescu could shoot a difficult shot in the 37th minute, which Traian Sucigan however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vintilă Bâru in the 41st minute of play forced Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Iurie Cocoș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Traian Sucigan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Năstase in the 44th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bogdan Goma made a kick off. Scorpions -MM-'s Iurie Cocoș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Goma in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to Scorpions -MM- getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Emil Bărnuțiu hit a great ball. After 67 minutes, Dan Năstase made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Alexandria Team08's Traian Sucigan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 69th minute, Emil Bărnuțiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niculae Corvin in the 70th minute of play forced Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Iurie Cocoș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Dan Năstase had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Bogdan Goma had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iurie Cocoș. Scorpions -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bogdan Goma was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Dan Năstase hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Scorpions -MM-! When the match had been going on for 88 minutes, Alexandria Team08's Vintilă Bâru got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Iurie Cocoș. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
