After a rather tough play, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Cornel Surdilă got a free kick in the 4th minute. 0-1 became the score in the 7th minute when Aurelian Zogreanu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ştefan Secară during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Ştefan Secară got a free kick in the 10th minute. Black Diamond's Marcel Stoian got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas's goalkeeper Aron Neculce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcel Stoian. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ninjas in Pyjamas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcel Stoian was slow to take the kick. During this time Black Diamond's players had a chance to rest. Aurelian Zogreanu took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vali Brătescu. Vali Brătescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When Aurelian Zogreanu came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Ninjas in Pyjamas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelian Zogreanu couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Black Diamond getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Vasile Cismarescu hit a great ball. When Marcel Stoian fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Diamond's protests and gave Marcel Stoian a yellow card for diving instead. Marcel Stoian kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Iván Zamorano hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the game, Aurelian Zogreanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Vali Brătescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 43rd match minute, Ninjas in Pyjamas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornel Surdilă to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Aurelian Zogreanu took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vali Brătescu. Vali Brătescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Aurelian Zogreanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vali Brătescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Vali Brătescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelian Zogreanu went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Aurelian Zogreanu in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vali Brătescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Eliodor Dan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sabin Moisil in the 81 minute of the game. With a little luck, Black Diamond's Vali Brătescu got control of the ball when Aurelian Zogreanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Black Diamond's Vali Brătescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Black Diamond from getting a goal against them. Aurelian Zogreanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Vali Brătescu made a huge save. During the 95th minute of the match Ştefan Secară completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ştefan Secară a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 96 played minutes Ninjas in Pyjamas got a freekick which was hit by Ştefan Secară. The Ninjas in Pyjamas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
