El retorno del Pincha's Cato Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fagondo Mazule in the 20th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Gerazan Lluba recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cato Goiano. Gerazan Lluba showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fagondo Mazule during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luis Silviano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Rik Sirguero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rik Sirguero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Uzuri in the 35th minute of play. The corner ended in Aquilino Koldobika almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fire Breathers FC's Rik Sirguero did a great save. In the 45th minute of the match, Fagondo Mazule tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cato Goiano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Egun Larquera kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luis Silviano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Fire Breathers FC booed when El retorno del Pincha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Uzuri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 51st minute of the match Petri Arberas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cato Goiano skillfully saved the ball. Nunez Gora kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Txaran Porta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cato Goiano. The Fire Breathers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rik Sirguero should have stopped the shot.
