The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 28th minute, Grzegorz Jajecznica left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Goral Zywiec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Daniel Kieca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grzegorz Jajecznica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Goral Zywiec's goalkeeper Michael Krawczyk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregorio Montez. Michael Krawczyk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gregorio Montez's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Jajecznica in the 41st minute of play forced Russówek's goalkeeper Daniel Kieca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregorio Montez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Goral Zywiec's Michael Krawczyk got control of the ball when Gregorio Montez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute, Waldemar Kazczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Russówek players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Goral Zywiec were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Grzegorz Jajecznica to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Gregorio Montez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Russówek's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregorio Montez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Krawczyk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Russówek's Daniel Kieca got control of the ball when Victorino Frederik tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Kieca made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Victorino Frederik sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Russówek defense, Grzegorz Jajecznica kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Kieca. Russówek's Gregorio Montez got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
