The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Lucjan Burufski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AKS Kozienice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucjan Burufski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 5th minute by Lucjan Burufski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alfred Drab who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Hugon Lenertej when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 14th minute, Valdomiro Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of AKS Kozienice booed when SS SuperSonics was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogumil Ludwa didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Hugon Lenertej managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when AKS Kozienice's Alfred Drab fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hugon Lenertej took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Drab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Burufski in the 25th minute of play forced SS SuperSonics's goalkeeper Hugon Lenertej to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AKS Kozienice's Kacper Prosowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Korneliusz Panasewicz in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute Ganga Banga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kacper Prosowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When AKS Kozienice's Lucjan Burufski in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ganga Banga was the one to do the kick off. If Lucjan Burufski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hugon Lenertej didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucjan Burufski went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 63 minutes into the game, Lucjan Burufski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Hugon Lenertej was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Bambang Wiatr fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SS SuperSonics's protests and gave Bambang Wiatr a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SS SuperSonics's Bambang Wiatr got a free kick in the 66th minute. Bambang Wiatr came free in the 74th minute and tried to tip the ball over Kacper Prosowski, but to the joy of AKS Kozienice's supporters the ball went over. SS SuperSonics's Gucci Gangstad was substituted for Ganga Banga. In the 79th minute Lucjan Burufski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugon Lenertej saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Korneliusz Panasewicz's late challenge caught a AKS Kozienice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Korneliusz Panasewicz helped the player get up and apologised. Korneliusz Panasewicz hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, SS SuperSonics's goal looked a bit too open when Lucjan Burufski came free, but Hugon Lenertej reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Lucjan Burufski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugon Lenertej was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. If Alfred Drab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that AKS Kozienice were the better team.
