In the 18th minute, Korneliusz Panasewicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SS SuperSonics fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ganga Banga in the 28th minute of play forced Yelonki's goalkeeper Sad Keep to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sad Keep showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ganga Banga, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Yelonki's Sad Keep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ganga Banga in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Szczepan Opat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SS SuperSonics's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yelonki the free kick. Szczepan Opat hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Bambang Wiatr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugon Lenertej made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Tobiasz Tamulewicz sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to SS SuperSonics getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Zdzislaw Dembowski hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dag Laskowski to make the kick off.
