The referee gave Project Nemesis a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Czeslaw Penczkowski, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of F.C. Sosnowiec's Zbyszko Andrzejewski. 0-1. After 12 played minutes F.C. Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Ulryk Klejnowski. After some careless play in the F.C. Sosnowiec defense, Alaa Ba Loua kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zbyszko Andrzejewski. The F.C. Sosnowiec fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zbyszko Andrzejewski should have stopped the shot. Zbyszko Andrzejewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alaa Ba Loua in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Project Nemesis booed when F.C. Sosnowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boguslaw Jaszynski didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Czeslaw Penczkowski in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zbyszko Andrzejewski saved F.C. Sosnowiec from getting behind. Golo Gol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Resel in the 47th minute of play. After 49 minutes Project Nemesis's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ulryk Rzeszutko who took care of the corner kick. The corner led F.C. Sosnowiec's Ulryk Rzeszutko to fire away a dangerous shot which Golo Gol despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabian Resel to strike the kick off in the second half. Zbyszko Andrzejewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Czeslaw Penczkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 60 played minutes F.C. Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Lucjan Scigan. After some careless play in the F.C. Sosnowiec defense, Alaa Ba Loua kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zbyszko Andrzejewski. The F.C. Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Zbyszko Andrzejewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tadeusz Rekowski. In the 89th minute, Lucjan Scigan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Tadeusz Rekowski sped through F.C. Sosnowiec's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zbyszko Andrzejewski. Zbyszko Andrzejewski was a little too slow when Tadeusz Rekowski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-5. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Project Nemesis eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
