The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Russówek's goal looked a bit too open when Kazimierz Knopek came free, but Zenon Pazura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milosz Kostrzewski hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Zenon Pazura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliks Furlit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Milosz Kostrzewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Radowit Tyski came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Russówek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radowit Tyski couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Russówek's Andrzej Zawaski got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, Kazimierz Knopek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Witomir Ligas in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zenon Pazura saved Russówek from getting behind. In the 38th minute Barnaba Zachemski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomil Zbydniowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Barnaba Zachemski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ludomil Zbydniowski. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 48th minute Barnaba Zachemski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomil Zbydniowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Kazimierz Knopek made the kick off in the second half. Waclaw Pilipiec charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Waclaw Pilipiec the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Waclaw Pilipiec hit a great ball. Radoslaw Penczkowski's late challenge caught a 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radoslaw Penczkowski helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnaba Zachemski in the 61st minute of play forced 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA's goalkeeper Ludomil Zbydniowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Russówek's Radoslaw Penczkowski got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Witalis Majusiak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Waldemar Kapera from long distance, 64 minutes into the match, got Zenon Pazura's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA's Ludomil Zbydniowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnaba Zachemski in the 73rd minute of play. Russówek made a substitution. Wawrzyniec Witek replaced Maciej Chmelyk. Russówek were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zygmunt Iwanowski took the corner. The corner led to Russówek's Andrzej Zawaski getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The supporters of 2006 Los Blancos DUKLA booed when Russówek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnaba Zachemski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jakub Gacki hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The long shot by Waldemar Kapera in the 94th minute really tested Zenon Pazura's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
